Nikki Patterson
Nikki Patterson
Meet Nikki — a Richmond native with a heart for helping people feel supported, seen, and connected. Nikki earned both her Bachelor’s (2011) and Master’s (2013) in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University and has spent her career walking alongside individuals and families as they navigate life’s challenges.
Over the years, Nikki has worked with people living with mental health diagnoses, providing both case management and clinical support with compassion and care. She is especially passionate about supporting at-risk and unhoused individuals and families in finding stable housing throughout Richmond and the surrounding counties. Earlier in her career, Nikki also worked within the school system, where she provided individual and group counseling to students working through challenges with emotional regulation, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.
What matters most to Nikki is building genuine relationships. She believes in showing up authentically, being transparent, and creating a space where people feel comfortable and supported. In her role as Resident and Community Wellness Manager with Urban Hope, Nikki works closely with individuals and families to provide case management services, connect people to resources, and create meaningful wellness programming for the community.
Outside of work, Nikki loves spending time with the people closest to her. You can often find her out enjoying the food and music scene around RVA, and every now and then, tapping into her creative side by crafting something special.
