Ginger Dillard

Ginger Dillard is the Deputy Director at Urban Hope, where she brings a heart for service and a wealth of expertise in nonprofit management to her role. With over 25 years of experience in transforming service delivery for older adults and adults with disabilities, Ginger is known for her dedication to advancing community well-being through strategic planning and innovative program development.

Growing up, Ginger witnessed the importance of a safe, stable home firsthand and purchased her first home through the low-income home buyers program at 24 years old.  Working with older adults in poor housing conditions inspired her passion for improving housing and support services for others. For more than 20 years, she has volunteered with a local housing foundation, working tirelessly to enhance services for older adults in her community. This lifelong commitment to service is the foundation of her work at Urban Hope, where she leads financial strategy, program implementation, and operational excellence to ensure the organization achieves its mission.

Ginger is an avid DIYer who believes in the power of creativity and resourcefulness—whether she's tackling a home improvement project, gardening, or finding innovative solutions to organizational challenges. She’s also a proud aunt to an amazing group of kids and finds joy in watching them grow and thrive.

At Urban Hope, Ginger is driven by the belief that everyone deserves a place to call home. She finds the most rewarding part of her work is knowing that her efforts are helping to create a thriving community where neighbors can support each other and build a better future.

When she’s not working, Ginger loves spending time with family, getting lost in a good book, and traveling.
